As a communications strategist who has worked for three national media organizations, I have experienced the impact of transformative storytelling. My goal as the next Miss Virginia is to inspire others to step into their purpose, and boldly share their story with the world.
However, as I continued to grow in my career I realized a significant decrease in the quality of my health due to increased levels of stress. From working on three political campaigns, to building a business, my health took a significant turn and I experienced severe levels of burnout. In the midst of my pain and recovery, I birthed Soul Care, an initiative to help career driven individuals prioritize their health through mindfulness, movement and service.
